Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings, rentals, tours, and participation with Las Vegas Paddleboard LLC (“LVP”). By booking or participating, you agree to all terms below.
Reservations & Payments
- All bookings must be paid in full at the time of reservation unless otherwise stated.
- All sales are final subject to the cancellation policy below.
- Prices are per person or per vessel as listed.
- LVP reserves the right to correct pricing errors at any time.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
All reservations are subject to the following cancellation terms. These policies are strictly enforced due to limited availability and the operational impact of last-minute changes.
Day-Of Activity Policy (Applies to All Bookings)
- No cancellations, changes, rescheduling, or refunds are permitted on the day of the scheduled activity for any reason.
- This includes, but is not limited to: late arrival, traffic delays, weather, illness, injury, scheduling conflicts, family emergencies, misunderstanding of directions, or voluntary non-participation or any other reason.
- Failure to arrive on time or failure to attend the scheduled activity will be treated as a no-show and is strictly non-refundable.
- No exceptions will be made under any circumstances.
Groups of 1–3 Participants
- Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to the scheduled activity will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made between 24–48 hours prior will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled activity are non-refundable.
Groups of 4–9 Participants
- Cancellations made 5 days (120 hours) or more prior will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made between 48 hours and 5 days prior will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled activity are non-refundable.
Groups of 10 or More Participants
- Due to the operational impact of large group reservations, all bookings of 10 or more participants are subject to strict policies.
- Payment must be made in full at the time of the booking.
- No full-refunds will be issued once the booking is confirmed.
- A 50% refund may be issued only if cancellation occurs 7 days or more prior to the scheduled activity.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled activity are non-refundable.
- Final participant counts are locked within 7 days of the activity.
- All reserved spots must be paid in full regardless of attendance. No-shows will not be refunded.
No-Shows & Late Arrivals
- No-shows are strictly non-refundable.
- Late arrivals are considered no-shows and are non-refundable for any reason.
- No refunds will be issued for unused time or missed participation.
Voluntary Non-Participation
- Choosing not to participate after arrival does not qualify for a refund under any circumstances.
Late Arrival Policy
- All participants must arrive prior to their scheduled start time as listed in their booking confirmation.
- All activities begin at the scheduled time and cannot be delayed for any reason.
Tours (Strict Departure Policy)
- Tours operate on a fixed group schedule and depart at the exact scheduled time.
- Late arrivals will not be permitted to join the tour under any circumstances.
- If a participant is not present and ready at the scheduled start time, the booking is considered a no-show and is strictly non-refundable.
Rentals (Strict Start Time Policy)
- Rental start times are fixed and are not flexible.
- Customers must be present and ready at their scheduled start time.
- Arriving late does not delay or extend the rental period.
- If a participant is not present and ready at the scheduled start time, the booking may be canceled and is non-refundable.
Operational Constraints
- Customers are responsible for allowing sufficient travel time and locating the correct launch site prior to their scheduled activity.
- Due to permit restrictions, Las Vegas Paddleboard is not permitted to remain at the launch site beyond designated time limits.
- As a result, staff cannot wait for late arrivals and cannot delay or reschedule activities.
No Exceptions
- No exceptions will be made for any reason, including but not limited to traffic delays, navigation issues, weather concerns, illness, injury, or personal circumstances.
Late Return of Rentals Policy
Rental Time Enforcement
- Rental time begins at the scheduled start time selected at booking, not when the participant enters the water.
- All rental start and end times are fixed and must be strictly adhered to.
- Time is not extended for any reason, including preparation delays, restroom use, or time spent on land.
- Participants are solely responsible for managing their time, planning their route and turnaround time to ensure timely return.
- Participants must plan sufficient time to return to the launch area prior to the designated return time.
Late Return Fees
- All equipment must be returned at the exact designated return time.
- A late fee of $100 per vessel will be applied immediately once the return time is exceeded.
- If equipment is not returned precisely on time, Las Vegas Paddleboard will immediately dispatch guides to look for participants and vessels.
- An additional $100 per vessel will be charged every 30 minutes thereafter until participants and all equipment are returned to the launch area.
- All late fees and recovery-related costs will be charged to the customer.
- Participants acknowledge that for operational disruption and safety reasons all late returns fees as described in this section are reasonable and necessary.
No Exceptions
- Late return fees apply under all circumstances and will not be waived for any reason.
- This includes, but is not limited to: heat, wind, weather conditions, health, fatigue, distance misjudgment, capsizing, not understanding directions, equipment issues, or any other circumstance.
Authorization to Charge
- By booking, customers expressly authorize Las Vegas Paddleboard to charge the payment method on file for all late fees, recovery costs, and any associated charges incurred due to late return of equipment.
Health & Participation Requirements
- All participants must be physically capable of safely participating in the selected activity.
- Participants must possess adequate strength, endurance, balance, swimming ability, and mobility to participate without assistance.
Weight Limits
- All participants must meet the posted weight limits for the selected activity.
- Weight limits are strictly enforced for safety reasons and equipment limitations.
- Failure to accurately disclose weight or exceeding weight limits may result in denial of participation without refund.
Medical & Physical Conditions
- Participants must not have any medical condition that may be aggravated by physical activity, water conditions, or extreme heat.
- This includes, but is not limited to: heart conditions, respiratory issues, back or spine injuries, neurological conditions, mobility limitations, or any condition affecting balance or coordination.
- Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions prior to participation.
Pregnancy Policy
- Participation is not permitted for individuals who are pregnant.
- For safety reasons, pregnant individuals will be denied participation without refund.
Fitness to Participate
- Las Vegas Paddleboard reserves the right to deny or terminate participation to any individual who, in its sole discretion, appears unable to safely participate or follow instructions.
- No refund will be issued in these cases.
Alcohol & Drug Policy
- Alcohol and drugs are STRICTLY PROHIBITED before and during all activities.
- Participants may not bring, possess, or consume alcohol, marijuana, illegal drugs, or any impairing substance at any time while using Las Vegas Paddleboard equipment or participating in any activity.
Zero Tolerance Enforcement
- Any participant who is under the influence, appears impaired, or is found in possession of alcohol or drugs will be denied participation or removed immediately.
- No refund will be issued under any circumstances.
- No warnings are required prior to enforcement of this policy.
Violation Fee
- A minimum $1,000 fee will be charged if alcohol or drugs are discovered, consumed, or suspected during the activity.
- This includes possession of alcoholic beverages, empty containers, or evidence of consumption.
Federal Law & Safety Compliance
- Activities take place within federally managed land, and violations may result in citations, fines, or legal consequences issued by law enforcement.
- Participants are solely responsible for any legal penalties resulting from violations.
Equipment & Cleaning
- Participants are responsible for maintaining equipment in clean and usable condition.
- Any equipment returned with alcohol residue, odor, spills, or contamination will result in additional $500 cleaning fee charged to the card on file.
Authorization to Charge
- By booking, customers expressly authorize Las Vegas Paddleboard to charge the payment method on file for all violation fees, cleaning fees, damages, and any related costs associated with alcohol or drug use.
Safety Rules & Required Conduct
- All participants must follow all instructions provided by Las Vegas Paddleboard staff at all times.
- Failure to follow instructions or safety rules may result in immediate removal from the activity without refund.
Life Jacket Requirement
- All participants are required to wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket issued by Las Vegas Paddleboard at all times while on the water.
- Life jackets must be properly secured and worn on the body at all times and may not be removed, unbuckled, or carried.
- Life jackets may not be placed on the board, kayak, behind the participant, or between the legs at any time.
- Failure to comply at any point during the activity, including while returning to shore, will result in immediate termination of the activity and will result in additional fees.
- Participants who fail to meet the life jacket policy will not be able to book with Las Vegas Paddleboard again.
Required Conduct
- Participants must operate all equipment in a safe and controlled manner at all times.
- Reckless or unsafe behavior is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to standing in unsafe conditions, horseplay, collisions, or ignoring safety instructions.
- Participants must remain within designated areas and follow all route, boundary, and safety instructions provided by staff.
Emerald Cave & High-Traffic Areas
- At Emerald Cave and other high-traffic areas, participants must follow all established flow and wait their turn.
- Cutting lines, crowding the cave entrance, or interfering with other visitors is strictly prohibited.
Removal from Activity
- Las Vegas Paddleboard reserves the right to deny participation or immediately remove any individual for:
- Unsafe behavior
- Failure to follow instructions
- Violation of any policy
- Intoxication or suspected impairment
- Disruptive or aggressive conduct
- No refund will be issued in these cases.
Legal & Safety Compliance
- Participants must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and federal rules governing the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
- Failure to comply may result in citations, fines, or legal penalties issued by law enforcement.
Weather & Environmental Conditions
Activities operate rain or shine unless otherwise notified by Las Vegas Paddleboard prior to your activity.
We may cancel, delay, or modify activities due to weather, water conditions, wind, lightning, or safety concerns.
If Las Vegas Paddleboard cancels an activity, guests will receive a reschedule option or a full refund.
Weather-related discomfort alone does not issue a refund.
Age Requirements
Minimum age requirements vary by activity and must be met.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless otherwise stated.
Photography & Media
By participating, guests acknowledge that photographs or video may be taken of participants during activities for website use, social media and any other form of media as described in our waiver.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Guests agree to contact us first to resolve billing concerns.
Fraudulent chargebacks may result in supporting documentation being submitted to payment processors, including signed waivers and booking records.
Assumption of Risk & Acknowledgement
Participation requires signing an Acknowledgement of Risk and Agreement prior to participation.
Failure to complete required documentation will result in denial of service without refund.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for safety, legal, or operational reasons.
Third-Party Booking Platforms
Bookings made through third-party platforms are subject to their policies in addition to ours.
Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
Any disputes shall be resolved in Clark County, Nevada.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time.
The most current version will be posted on our website.
