What Your Child Will Experience During the Lesson
The lesson begins on the sandy shores of Personal Watercraft Beach at Lake Mead, where kids will be introduced to their paddle boards and gear. The first part of the session focuses on foundational skills, ensuring that every participant feels comfortable, safe, and ready for the water.

Kids Paddle Board Lessons at Iconic Lake Mead
One of the highlights of this lesson is the opportunity to explore the breathtaking scenery of Lake Mead while paddle boarding. Kids will paddle through calm, crystal-clear waters, taking in the incredible surroundings of towering desert cliffs, wide-open skies, and vibrant landscapes.

The Grand Finale Giant Mantaray Adventure
The lesson wraps up with an exciting, team-based adventure on our giant multi-person Mantaray paddle boards! Groups of paddlers will team up to navigate the water together:

- Jump, laugh, swim and play with friends

With direct beachfront access at Personal Watercraft Beach, kids can hop on their boards and start their adventure right away. Before the session begins, our instructors make sure every child feels comfortable and excited to paddle. Once the lesson concludes, kids return to shore filled with confidence, accomplishment, and a big smile, ready to tell their parents all about their adventure on the water.

- Join us every week and develop your skills on the water!
- Parents can join the fun. All equipment will be provided. Just sign up.
- Parents that have their own equipment the cost is the same. Just sign up to reserve your spot.
- Bring plenty of water, sunscreen and snacks.
- The class may be split into 2 or more groups depending on the experience of the padders. Beginners will learn the basics on how to paddle along the shoreline and more experienced paddlers will paddle across to Big Boulder Island as a group with our guides leading the way.
- Parents that are not joining the lesson MUST wait on the beach during the lesson. You are not permitted to drop you child off and leave, or go out on the water for a separate activity while your child is in the class. We must be able to find you if necessary. No exceptions.
