Where do I check-in?

When you come down the hill after entering the park you will see the staging area on the left for all tours & rentals, this is Kayak Beach. Park as close to Kayak Beach as possible. Look for our guide staff and company vehicles on the shoreline at Kayak Beach — and let the adventure begin! (note: we are not the marina)

Can beginners rent a Mantaray at Willow Beach?

Yes! We’ll give you basic tips before you launch. If it’s your very first time, we recommend staying near shore or paddling a shorter distance before attempting Boulder Island.

Is there a fee to enter Lake Mead National Recreation Area?

Yes. The National Park Service charges an entry fee into the park for each vehicle, and needs to be paid with a credit card.

What should I bring for my Mantaray rental?

Water, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, water shoes or sandals, and a towel. A dry bag or waterproof phone pouch is helpful if you’re bringing valuables.

Can I paddle to Emerald Cave from the launch point?

Emerald Cave is 4 miles roundtrip. Yes you can, but know you limits and prepare for an adventure!  Even if you don’t, make it the Colorado River is amazing.

Can I bring snacks or drinks on the Mantaray?

Absolutely. You can take water, snacks, and other small items. Please no glass and pack out your trash.

What if the weather is bad?

We monitor weather daily. If conditions are unsafe, we’ll contact you to reschedule. Be prepared for sun, heat, and wind typical of desert conditions.
